Come one, come all to our monthly fiber crafting get-together, happening every third Thursday from 6 PM – 9 PM at The Drawing Room at Var Gallery on 5th Street! Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just curious about starting your next project, this is the perfect spot to hang out, craft, and connect with fellow fiber enthusiasts.
What to Expect:
Bring whatever project you’re working on – knitting, crocheting, felting, embroidery, hand sewing, or whatever crafty adventure you're on.
The gallery bar will be open, serving up drinks (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic options available), so sip and stitch away!
Bring your own supplies and materials. We’ll also have some extras to share if you need them.
This event is all about comfy, portable projects you can easily work on in your lap. We've got chairs, but if you want to bring a cozy floor pillow or anything else to make yourself feel extra comfy, go for it! 🧶✨
No experience? No problem! This is a relaxed, social space for anyone interested in fiber crafts – no skills required, just a love for creating and meeting new people!
Suggested Donation: $5-$10 to help keep the good times rolling, but don’t stress – no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Location: The Drawing Room at Var Gallery 5th Street - 700 S. 5th Street, Milwaukee, WI (Enter through the Small Works Gallery)
Special Note: This event is NOT located at To Hell & Back or Var Gallery on 2nd street. This event is located at Var Gallery 5th Street in the space formerly known as "Between Two Galleries" and "Deep Lake Future" which is accessible via the Small Works Gallery door. Wheelchair accessible.
Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot for the upcoming dates:
Grab your materials, your creativity, and your good vibes – we can’t wait to craft with you!
